This policy explains what personal information KQuality Cleaning Services collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can do about it. It covers our website and our Facebook Page, including messages sent to us through Facebook Messenger. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

You can ask general questions about our services — by phone, on our Facebook Page or on this site — without telling us who you are. We only need your details once you want a quote, a site visit or a booking, because we cannot price a job or turn up to it without knowing where it is and how to reach you.
When you request a quote on our website we collect the details you enter: your name, phone number, email address, the type of cleaning you need, details about the property, your preferred start date and any notes you add.
When you comment on a post on our Facebook Page, or message our Page, we receive from Meta:
We do not collect payment card details, government identifiers, or health information through these channels. We do not seek sensitive information as defined in the Privacy Act, and we ask that you do not send it to us through Facebook.
Some replies from our Facebook Page are sent automatically. The automated assistant answers common questions, asks for the details needed to prepare a quote, and can record a requested site-visit time in our calendar.
It does not make any decision that affects you. It does not quote prices — every quote follows an inspection by a person. Any appointment it records is a request only, and is confirmed by a member of our team.
You can ask for a person at any time by saying so in the chat. The assistant will stop and a member of our team will take over.
We may contact you about your own enquiry or service. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not provide it to third parties for their marketing. If we ever send you a promotional message you can opt out by replying to it, or by emailing info@kqualitycleaningservices.com.au, and we will stop.

We do not otherwise disclose your personal information unless you ask us to, or we are required to by law.
Meta Platforms is based in the United States and operates infrastructure in a number of countries, so information you send us through Facebook or Messenger is handled overseas. Some of the technical services we use to host this website and our systems may also store information on servers outside Australia. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure the information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles. If you would like to know the specific locations that apply at the time you ask, email us and we will tell you.
This website is built to support Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, which measure how the site is used and how well our advertising works. These tools are not currently switched on. If we enable them we will do so through this website, and they will collect usage information such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type, and share it with Google and Meta respectively. You can limit this through your browser settings and through your Facebook ad preferences.
Enquiry records are stored in a database that is not reachable from the public internet. Access requires an individual account and is limited to staff who need it. Traffic to our website and systems is encrypted in transit, and credentials are stored separately from application data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access or disclosure.
If we suffer a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to respond to you and to meet our record-keeping obligations. Enquiries that do not lead to a service are removed once they are no longer needed. Records relating to work we have carried out are kept for seven years, consistent with Australian business record-keeping requirements.
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@kqualitycleaningservices.com.au. We will respond within 30 days. There is no charge to make a request. If we cannot give you access or make a correction, we will tell you why in writing.
To have the record of a Facebook conversation with us deleted, say so in that conversation or email us with the name you use on Facebook. You can also remove our access to your Facebook information at any time through Facebook › Settings & Privacy › Settings › Business Integrations.
If you are concerned about how we have handled your personal information, email info@kqualitycleaningservices.com.au with the details. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days and give you a written response within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.
